Can landlords reject students?

Landlords must understand the equality and fairness standards set out by Gov UK. Landlords do not have the right to reject tenants on grounds of their sexuality, culture, race, sex, gender, nationality or orientation. Legitimate reasons to reject a student would be if they failed a credit check or Right to Rent check.
